Lost 2 miles to the gallon on my instant fuel indicator with cruise on at 62 mph. Terrible on ice, started sliding while sitting still, no traction in two wheel drive at all. Not a confident feel to the road in wet conditions either. Not recommended
Actually fit perfect on my Ram. 2" level kit and truck sits 2 inches higher than stock tires. No rubbing anywhere, even at full turn. great tires, great feel, awesome traction in all conditions. HIGHLY recommend this tire for any driver that likes to explore back mountain roads.
My 2013 ram 1500 outdoorsman came with these tires factory, the handling when new was very poor but got better when they were about half worn out I am very disappointed with the tread life my 2010 ram with cheap good year wranglers lasted to 30k mi I would not recommend these tires at all the NITTO Terra Grappler is a much better tire as far as traction and last a lot longer.
I put these on after much consideration of other brands. Wanted something to run year-round, mostly for Alberta winter. WOW! Not disappointed at all - I hit a porcupine one night and quills were sticking out of the sidewall. Took to a shop and tires were fine: still using them now. No problems on ice or snow, a bit loud, less MPG but no big deal. Will certainly buy again - can't comment on tread life but wouldn't hesitate to get these again. If you can get LT I would but not available for my stock size.
Had these tires when I bought the truck new. Seemed to handle OK for the most part but at 51000 KM they are worn out and I need new tires. One incident when driving home from skiing and a bit of sleet hit the highway. The truck literally swung out from under me on a straight away going about 90km/h. After about 4 back and forth corrections and a new pair of underwear I managed to get the vehicle back on track. Worst tires EVER on ice, especially sleet. If you value your life and live in a climate that gets snow, do not buy these tires!
