 Goodyear Eagle RS-A

These tires are an absolute pile of crap. I purchased my 13' FRS with these installed, BRAND new, with stickers still on it. after about 8000 miles, these tires are just horribly. I bolted a set of my friends stock wheels with the Primacy MX4's that come stock, and the Primacy's had MORE GRIP, at a 360 treadwear level compared to the 260 this has. These tires in the rain are absolute garbage. Don't expect to take any roundabouts/traffic circles at anything faster than 13mph. You'll understeer heavily and oversteer badly. DO NOT, purchase these.

To try this and also give the first comment, I drove about 10000kms with those tires. I have a Scion FRS 2013 (Original tire size). The performance is really good in cornering, very predictable, the side wall is really harder than the original Michelin, which greatly improves the hard cornering, (they also don't sound like the Michelin when drifted!!). They are very quiet and comfortable, the best I've ever tried! Everyone notice the smoothness: I feel it! no sound and resonance, a pleasure to drive long travel! Driving on water is extremely good and predictable as I drove quickly in thunderstorms, heavy rain, no hydroplaning, if so, the car go very straight and safe (don't float), also corner very good too, they surprise me a lot in wet! After 10KKms, the wear is low (as the low tread wear indication), They are like +-15% worn (I think I will do 30- 50+KKMs easily and very safe). I don't burn my tire for fun but I drive very smooth in public, traffic and... sometime really hard! Wear indicator is a very good tool to see your alignment... Fastly I see my front wheels are camber too much, need adjustments!... Negative: the side wall is ugly and look like cheapest tire... (it looks like Korean car low profile oem tire...) and absolutely no rim protector, they are flush!, so the rim is out of the wheels assembly, I see strikes and stone chips from the front wells... a bit of protection please! (oem Michelin side wall look more aggressive and deeper to protect the rim by near 1/2inch, and it's same size tire... no rim protector option? Conclusion, I tried a lot of performance tire and for me the best so far, the price is low too! And have you ever heard of green tire... I get .3 up to .5 L/100 better fuel efficiency than the green michelin primacy (or maybe it's because the old tire was wear out...)

 Hankook Winter i-Pike RS (W419)

I bought these tires in anticipation of the bad winter we would have this year and I am incredibly glad I did. This is one of the worst winters I've had to drive in and with my first RWD car too. The stock tires were terrible on snow, and even though I didn't want to spend money on snow tires, I knew I wouldn't survive on the stock tires. These tires have proved to be one the best investments I've ever made. I spent a lot of time reading reviews. I didn't want an intense snow tire because I'm used to the mild winters we have here (though this year is proving to be rough). I think this is a good in-between tire. It's studdable, and I bought it without them. I read the reviews for the previous W410 and loved them. These things are nice and affordable too. Winter performance is a good title for it. It handles extremely well in the wet and dry and I have no trouble enjoying my sports car with them on. I've read reviews about other tires that squirm and struggle on dry pavement but excel on snow. This tire does well on both, although I think it gives up a bit of snow/ice performance for overall dry/wet. If you live in an area with extreme winter conditions I'd say get another tire, or stud this one. It's perfect for mild winters with low snowfall numbers. It can be a bit noisy, but after a while you don't really notice it, especially if you turn the radio up. Comfort is a bit difficult to rate because my car has a stiff suspension, so any tire would bump hard, but they're not bad. Last thing, they do not like warm weather at all, but they are snow tires, they work better the colder it is outside. If it gets warm out they seem to squirm a bit at highway speeds. You just need to take it easy if it's 50 or higher out.
