Best All-Terrain tire stays soft when -40°c, she’s meaty and aggressive looking, silent as a mouse, when sliding on ice, snow or mud you turn the wheel in a direction and they act like ski’s “you start sliding that way”
I chirp my tires daily on asphalt, I do grave roads I do mud I do anything but sand. Only punctured by 2 nails in my 63,000 + km buuuut! The tread wear life is not the best, the tread is damn near smooth on all fours but she keeps putting out! I still stop damn near the same as when they where new on ice and snow, I just don’t have all the traction I used to have when hammering down on the gas. All in all these tires mean everything to me and I thank my uncle for telling me to look at the T/A KO2’s, side note they are multi direction so rock them black walls and not the white lettering ;)
I've read reviews that these tire are not good in snow. I have been driving 4x4s for over 40yrs with different styles of tires. These tires are very good in the snow on my 2014 f150 screw platinum. 51000 miles on them. Probably have about 5000 left but going to replace them before winter gets here.
This is an awesome tire I bought my 2014 F-150 Super Crew 4x4 brand new and had a 6" lift and the Toyo AT 2's 35x12.50 20's installed on a set 20x9 fuel throttle rims. There has never been any issues with the performance of these tires I just turned 54,142 miles on them and they still have 3/8 of an inch of tread left they have worn perfectly smooth all the way across the tire I've had them rotated at every oil change which is every 5,000 miles I believe I can get 65,000 or possibly more out of these tires the tires are just now starting to hum a little loader but not bad don't let a few crybabies keep you from buying this tire. I live in Florida so I can't give a snow rating. One other thing if you want a car ride buy a car!
These tires have been great. I travel throughout West and South Texas on lease roads traveling to rigs. The Caliche roads are bad to put it nicely. I have put 46,000 miles on them in 9 months. Just had them rotated. They are at 10/32.
Good highway tire in south Florida. Not very aggressive off road tread but my use is 90% hard surface use. Better than a standard on road tire for traction, but not very good on mud or wet grass. Transition tread between the sidewall and bottom wore faster than the bottom tread, despite regular balance and air pressure checks.
Very surprised about how quiet these tires are. Coming from Pirelli's I expected greater road noise (that is not the case). I also expected a decrease in mpg's. I have lost .3 mpg's per the truck computer (too lazy to calculate manually).
This is by far the most unbelievable winter tire I have ever owned. The ability to stop on a dime is unbelievable and sometimes I forget that I am even on snow or ice. I don't know exactly what they did to make this tire, but whatever it is I hope they have a patent
I put these on my truck and drove from Vancouver, BC to Las Vegas and no problems at all. Then we drove from Vancouver through manning park to south eastern BC up to Banff, Calgary, Edmonton, Jasper and back to BC. We hit temps low of -14C and snow and ice. I was very surprised how stable they were. Never had to get into 4WD. The only thing that caught my attention was when the tires were new, in the rain the tires slid starting on hills. However, after some wear, never had it happen since. Not too sure what caused that but I'm happy with it now. I've put on over 10,000 km within the first 2 months of getting them and I think I see ever so slight wear but not enough to be concerned about at this time. Happy with them
I enjoyed my F-150 prior to the purchase of Nitto tires. They are loud and vibrate the floorboard of the truck like you are driving on a off road tire. I'm actually looking forward to wearing these tires out so they can be replaced with another make
These are the worst truck tires I have ever had.
Good for dry pavement only. Came with the truck and I couldn't wait to get rid of them. 7000km absolutely no wet,ice or snow traction. New set of Goodyear Wranglers on now.
4.Affected tires could have partial or full sidewall perforations that could cause them to experience loss of air pressure
tire blew around the rim going about 20 mph on a turnaround, absolutely no damage to the tread making contact with the road, the perforation is all along the rim tires should be looked at for recall like the MICHELIN® LTX® M/S 2, MICHELIN® X® Radial LT2 and MICHELIN® Latitude® Tour tires.
Don't listen to any of the reviews about this tire not being loud or fuel efficient !!! I always ran BFG TA KO's and went to this tire... what a mistake !!! after 1 month of listening to these things growl and watching my fuel bill increase by $60 week I had enough and ordered the BFG's again. Waste of money and time !!!! I was able to sell them (at a huge loss) but at least I got something back. These tires do look amazing but the Nitto site is way off on what hey will do for you. The traction was not much better than the BFG either. If you want a cool looking tire and don't care about noise and fuel mileage than this is the right tire for you !!!
Long live the BFG All Terrain TA KO !!!!
