I have never before rated a tire anywhere. I purchased a used 2015 Awd Taurus last summer with these tires on it. The car is virtually brand new with only 8000 miles on it. I live in the west with steep and snow covered roads leading to my home. This set of tires should not have a title of all season unless you live in a climate with only one season that being summer. In light snow and at overly cautious speeds these tires will lose traction with the slightest of steering input putting you into a slide that even Fords excellent traction control and ABS systems cannot recover from. I realized the first time I drove it in snow that the tire was lacking in every way. The car being AWD is the only reason I was able to even consider keeping the tires until spring. A week ago at less then 5mph while changing lanes these tires lost control on a snow packed curve and I slid into a snow bank where the vehicle became stuck. I have been driving for 40 years and have never lost control of a vehicle to the point of sliding into a position that the vehicle could not recover from on its own. I ordered new tires this week that I have a lot of experience and confidence in and am anxiously awaiting their arrival. These Primacy MXM4's should never be sold in any area that receives snowfall.
