Reviewing 225/45R17 tires I had on aftermarket rims, both purchased from 1010tires. I had these tires for 3 years putting on 45-50,000km in 3 years. (using winter tires/wheels for the colder weather driving). If It wasn't for an alignment issue that worn out the front tires to the belts I probably could've used them for 4th season, before they got to the lower wear bars. Dry road performance is quite good, they stick to the road well. so the point that they follow groves in the pavement. Rain driving was good too with reduced performance as they wore out which is normal of course. Handling, no complaints either it felt sporty and kept up with my driving. Comfort and Noise, not much to say, I don't have a luxury super quiet car and my tires were low profile (in fact my car doesn't have a muffler) so it felt a little stuff and always loud :) how I like it. There are mostly summer tires do not use them in winter if you get snow and ice. Bottom line they are good tires for not a lot of money. I replaced them 2 day ago with Cooper ZEON RS3-A on a short notice so the jury is still out on those.
