Just bought a set of these tires. having putting on 115,000km on the factory tires (Michelin LTX 2 ) The long trails are great for dry road and wet road driving, very smooth driving no noise. But I would say not the greatest for snow covered roads, if you live in the city and do most of your driving in the city or its limits they work, not in the wide open spaces of southern Ontario's snow belt. I would recommend going up to the rugged trail, or the total train or better bfg's as well if you are going to buy the long trails make sure you have AWD or 4x4.

I just replaced 4 Cooper Discoverer HTP's with 4 BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A Tours due to the fact I had the Cooper tires about 1 year and they would NEVER properly balance. The Coopers had a Vibration and a slight shimmy in my steering wheel no matter how many times I rotated and balanced them at Discount Tires. My best friend is having the same exact issue with his Cooper tires in New York. I love the Long Trails, wow what a difference, excellent traction, excellent comfort. It has not rained in Las Vegas for me to test their wet handling. I would highly recommend these tires.

When I first purchased the tires they were wonderful. Only got 30,000 miles out of them though. Was religious about rotations and air pressure checks. Would not buy them again.

Absolutely no complaints. I feel secure with these. Quiet, tight, the ride is smooth and the response is sport like (quick) on dry or wet road. I'm a fan.
