The treadwear is garbage on these tires. I got less than 20k on them. They were OK in the winter the first season but after that they lost their ability to handle any snow. My car is AWD so I have no problem getting anywhere but turning and stopping are an issue.

I am extremely disappointed with the purchase of these BFG tires. They were installed at 64,903km in Sept 2011. Every wintr 2011, 12 and 13 I have had winter tires on for 5 to 6 months, mostly 6 months of the year. I now have 100,500 km and the tire guy at Cosco indicated that they are unsafe for highway driving. Essentially I have gotten app. 20,000 km on tires that have a 80,000km warranty. What a fares. On top of that, the guy at Cosco that sold them to me assured me they were good for 60,000 km. I obviously would not recommend these to anyone.

Driven them for three years now, probably just one season remaining. Good in wet conditions when new but they lose that capacity as soon as they start wearing, which happens curiously fast given their UQTG. Do NOT use these tires on snowy or icy unless they are brand new. At the same speeds, these tires make much more noise than my winter tires (Nokian Hakkapellita R). When they will be completely worn out, I won't buy another set of these.

I would not exactly recommend these tires. They only function well in hard, dry environments. They provide plenty of grip, but are more than willing to let you step out with a little extra throttle. They are very firm feeling, noisy, and they wear fast. I would NOT use these tires for wet driving. Getting these tires even a little wet turns them into slicks. Absolutely no control with aggressive driving in wet environments.
