'87 Toyota MR2, 1.6 liter 20valve individual throttle bodys, IHI turbo, copper headgasket and forged dish pistons from an 89 supercharged MR2 to decrease factory compression of 11:1 to 8.9:1, walbro 255 fuel pump, Megasquirt stand-alone and MSD 6AL ignition, engine block and head design and build by TRD and Yamaha. forged, polished, balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly, 1800 pound, 300hp at the wheels on 14pounds of boost. spools 2 psi at 900rpm idle. redline is 11,000 rpm, i have it set via MSD rev limiter to 9,900 Daily driven on the street and a weekend warrior at autocross events, this is a full cage car, fully adjustable coil overs, urethane bushings [PROTHANE] and motor mounts [Forsche Polymer Co.], hard aluminum racing seats and 5 point harnesses. It rides like a freight train but out performs almost everything I run against, including big power sport bikes such as my ZX10. I obviously install nothing on this car for comfort, performance and handling of this tire for a street legal tire is phenomenal, I don't drive it in the snow so no comment there, wet and dry performance however is excellent. I can't hear road noise over my engine and exhaust as it sits directly behind me but coasting down the interstate with engine off I hear the wind over the tires so I'd say they are good in the noise area as well. Treadwear, well it's a high performance tire, you want an extended mile tire, don't buy a performance tire. I push my car to it's absolute limits and these tires have yet to let me down.
