Hands down the worst snow tire ever owned, and I have had many. its worse than an all season. best part is how expensive, bridgestone made out like a bandit with this POS. if you like zero traction at with any form of slight dusting or slush, then these are your kinda of tires. Even in thick snow others fare better. ipike or nokian from here on out.

These tires are absolutely useless on ice, and that is too bad because they are the very best tires in wet conditions, and not bad in fresh snow. They can be a handful in deep slush too if there is hard pack snow underneath the slush. As a delivery driver, driving 500 Km/day on all road types I was completely appalled by the lack of traction these tires offer on ice and hard packed icy snow. I purchased these tires expressly because of the Blizzak reputation and how these tires obtain a snow flake rating is curious to say the least. Having said that, they are probably the single best wet surface tire available and good on dry pavement as well. I have driven them in a blizzard with 25 cm of snow on the roads, and had no problems. However, on icy driveways, roadways and parking lots, I have never had such a poor performing tire where there is absolutely zero traction. I have literally slid off slanted icy roads going less than 10 km/hr. I would definitely not recommend these tires for ice conditions. They are not great tire getting out of deep snow once you stop, but are fair on snowy roads if you keep moving. The tires grab the slush and easily turn the vehicle sideways.

This is the only Blizzak tire I haven't liked. Poor traction in slush and snow! I live on a hill and we get stuck in 1" of fresh snow. The traction is excellent on hard packed snow though. My main concern is on dry pavement as these are very UNSAFE a with my van. There is significant overstever which makes the van hard to control at times. I have owned 4 or 5 sets of Blizzaks and purchased another set for my new 2015 Traverse that have all been excellent. Avoid these tires
