The new Dueler A/T Revo 2 features semi stealth tread blocks to promote higher tread stiffness and improved handling while enhancing water evacuation. It has a stepped inside notch and saw tooth groove to aid in snow traction, as well as an open shoulder tread design to help evacuate water. The P-Metric sizes also have dual layer tread and NanoPro-Tech which are rubber treatments which contribute to optimal traction as the tire wears.

Some road noise with these tires. I have noticed that on highways the tires tend to pull to the outside lane more than other tires I have had. Traction is really good on dry roadways and wet roadways. However had been in wet grass with very little mud. On this type of terrain I noticed some slipping. I travel off the beaten path and hit all kids of terrain. Have found that muddy terrain with rock, I have had no difficulty, with just mud a fair amount of slippage accrued. All in all not a bad tire they do seem to bleed air greatly with temperature changes.

I live in Northern Michigan and have snow 5 months out of the year. These are a liability in the snow. The are fine on the road, highway dirt roads etc. But if there is snow or ice then look else where and get a snow rated tire. They wear way early too. I am at 37K miles of mostly road travel and they have 8-10K left on them.

Putting on my second set. I towed a camper trailer a couple times over 400 miles. First set lasted 48,000 I am very satisfied with them. Biggest bang for your buck.

the best tyre we've had on the Touareg so far (200000 k). Handles as good as a performance tyre on the dry road. Almost as good off road as a true A/T (general Grabber AT2). Ice performance is like all seasons, snow handling better than all season but not as good as Winter tyres (Pirelly Scorpions). Thread wear is as expected for a heavy vehicle as the 'treg, especially with aggressive on road cornering. The noise level after break in period is disappointing, though. Will buy again but will again travel to US- although these are made in Canada, we have to pay almost twice the US price north of the border. Savings are good for a spring break road trip-almost.
