The latest in our line of environment-conscious tires, the Ecopia™ EP422™ is an all-season tire that delivers a smooth, comfortable ride. It is designed to improve rolling resistance, which helps it achieve better gas mileage. With its innovative tread compound and advanced traction technology, the tire is a strong, reliable performer on wet and dry surfaces all year long.

  • NANOPRO-TECH improves rolling resistance and contributes to fuel-efficiency and CO2 reduction by controlling the interaction between polymer, filler materials and other rubber chemicals at the molecular level.
  • FUEL SAVER SIDEWALL COMPOUND helps lower rolling resistance by both returning more energy back to the tire and reducing heat generation as compared to a traditional sidewall.
  • SILICA improves traction in wet conditions by increasing flexibility of tread compound.
  • RECYCLED GROUND RUBBER made from ground-up post-consumer tires, it contributes to 5% of the tread compound.
  • CIRCUMFERENTIAL GROOVES help channel water out of the footprint area to improve resistance to hydroplaning.

I have only had these tires for slightly over one month, put 5000 miles on them, car aligned, new Moog suspension on car. When tires were put on they put 32 lbs of pressure car weak on curves so I jumped up to 35 psi better response but now noticing wear on outer edges seem to be wearing, not sure why. Another thing went on 360 mile trip always have averaged 31 mpg or better on this once a month drive. Mileage dropped to 28.8 not fuel efficient as claimed. Now stucked with these tires. Bad on you Bridgestone.

The salesman said these would get better mileage. I checked mileage for the first month and went from 31 mpg on bald tires to 26 with new Ecopia tires. I took them back today, explaining that I had ought under the premise of better MPG. The salesman said the car needed to get used to the tires... Yea, right. These tires are a ripoff and were $50 more a piece than the second option.

I was going to sell my Kia Sorrento, so I put these tires on it because the tires were inexpensive. These are the worst tires I have ever driven on. When I start out on a slight grade, or with the front wheels slightly turned, and give the car a bit more gas than usual (but not even close to being aggressive), I get wheel spin . . . on dry pavement! High speed maneuvers on the highway are scary, with the SUV swaying around as the weak sidewalls roll over before the treads start to engage. I can't believe these tires are even being sold. Do not buy these tires even if you need cheap tires. Any other brand has to be better. Now I am not selling my Kia and am stuck with these tires.

I drive a lot. 275 miles a day in city driving as a courier. I thought "hey some extra mileage keeps some pennies in my pocket". NO. These tire do not get any better mileage then the crappy ones that came with the car from the factory. This is based on 35,000 miles of driving. These tires have worn out on the sides leaving half the tread in the middle, and yes i keep them properly inflated and rotated. Just are horrible for anyone who may have to turn a lot. Would i buy them again NO Would i recommend them to a friend NO I will get no where near the supposed lifetime mileage of these tires which means they were just a money sink. Very very very disappointed with them from a longevity standpoint.

I put these on my 2011 Prius and the gas mileage dropped from 48+ mpg to 42 immediately. For a tire that touts it's fuel efficiency, I'm extremely disappointed and will be returning them.
