I purchased these Conti DW's last week for my 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula SLP/WS6 in a 275/40/17. I've only put on approx. 200KM in Alberta Canada but so far these tires are performing pretty well. I am running them at 42 psi at all corners and this seems to be a good number for them. I've read previous reviews about soft sidewalls, so I decided to run 42 psi to help counter act this. The setup suspension on my SLP/WS6 is tight as it is, so the DW's are a good partner for them. My old BFG Comp TA ZR's were good in the dry but they ran like bricks and were quite noisy. The DW's so far are a big improvement. I scrubbed them for the first 100 KM, going nice and easy and have pushed them abit harder as the km's increase. I've tested a few sweeping banked/curves on/off ramps and they perform nicely. I do not typically drive in wet conditions but I'm sure these DW's will handle it with no problems. They track nicely down the road, and (I usually drive 80% highway, 20% city), so they see abit of everything. I'll add more updates as time goes on but so far, I would recommend these for anyone with a light, high HP/TQ , rear wheel/posi drive sports car... they key to having a positive experience would be to run higher psi , ie.42 psi as I am at the moment and have your installer do a detailed/comprehensive high speed balancing on all tires. In my opinion, so far, these tirees represent good bang for buck compared to the Mich Pilot Sport/PSS at double the cost.. especially here in Canada. There are trade offs with every tire, so pick what is most important to you and decide from there.. if you want relatively quiet, good road manners, great dry and wet(from what I've read) traction, then give these a shot. As a side note, check your tire sidewalls for the DOT, manufacture build date and ensure the tires are no more than 6-8 years old.. if any visible damage, bulges, cracks on sidewall etc, get them replaced asap... usually your tires are older than you think they are..
