My Yokohama IG20 winter tires wore out before winter was through, and my 18" high performance summer Michelins were done as well, and would have been useless here in my new home of Whitecourt, Alberta. Rather than buy new dedicated winters late in the season, and then have to buy new all seasons again before summer hits, I opted for these DWS tires. So impressed. Been through snow, ice, slush, rain, and dry roads. I like that the tire indicators will wear to tell you what the optimum traction level is. I don't plan on running these for next winter, but they sure work well as an intermediate solution. I look forward to them being a great three season tire for the next few years.

Had two tires blow before 60 000km. Useless for rear wheel drive in the snow. Very bad in rainy weather too. Never would I buy these tires.

They told me these tires would not fit on Focus 2009. Told them find a way to put them on because those tires are the one I want. They are good on snow and ice (just like a winter tire as far as I am concerned). I love the light noise I hear from them. When those are done, I will certainly get the same ones. They are great. I have no idea what the size is though.

Just got a set put on my Z4 this past weekend and it was just in time. I work the night shift so if there is bad weather coming I usually drive my wife's Honda Pilot 4WD. However this past Sunday morning nothing of note was forecast (a light drizzle) so I drove my Z4 to work. At 4am an ice storm hit St. Louis and I thought I was stuck at work. I finally decided to give my new DWS tires a tryout in icy road conditions and they were unbelievable. I-64 was closed in one direction while I drove in extremely slick conditions going the other way. Only once did I experience a slight little slip on a big curve where all the accidents were occuring. I let off the gas pedal and drove a little slower the rest of the way home without a hitch. I think these tires work best for a small lightweight car like a Z4. For heavier vehicles they may not perform as expected. I only have 200 miles on them but so far they have been worth every cent.
