FITMENT GUARANTEE
All orders are verified for fitment guarantee.

The Discoverer A/T3™ utilizes a balanced combination of technology, compounding and design to produce a tire that will perform well in nearly all types of terrains. The tread compound enhances wet traction and rolling resistance, while the aggressive tread design significantly improves off-road traction without sacrificing highway performance. All traction, all terrain, all the time!

  • Modern, Aggressive 5-Rib All-Terrain Design. The aggressive all-terrain design is engineered to provide outstanding performance in both on-road and off-road driving applications. The A/T3 tread pattern exploits a combination of features specifically suited to provide solid all-terrain performance, superior all-season traction, excellent stability, confident handling and reliable tread wear.
  • Silica Based Tread Compound. The tread compound is formulated with a chemically coupled silica and carbon black mixture that provides excellent wet traction and handling on the highway, while also improving cut and chip resistance in more harsh rocky and gravel terrain. The silica enriched tread compound has lower rolling resistance than traditional full carbon black tread compounds.
  • Dual Draft Tread Element Walls. The dual draft angles on the tread element walls aid in reducing stone retention, stone drilling and assist in cut and chip resistance.
  • Lateral Groove Protectors. Serrated steps in the lateral grooves of the intermediate tread rib reduces the chance of stone retention and stone drilling.

I put these on in early November of 2014. I've had them on about a year and a half. They've gone through 2 winters and were impressive in the snow. As long as there was even some light momentum it never got stuck. I went mudding a few times and these did amazing. The only major issue I have with these are the wear and the comfort. I put these on with about 163K miles on and I am just over 180K now. They are almost bald. I did pull my boat and these did very well on the wet ramps even without a whole lot of tread left. I won't be putting these on again just due to the fact that I haven't even seen 20,000 miles out of them yet and I have to replace them.

I am overdue to change tires as they were rated at 50,000 miles and they are now at 70,300 miles. They have been on truck for over 4 1/2 yrs. Until just recently, they were performing well, however wet and snow covered roads are hazardous. I have pushed them too far though they performed very well up to now. I drive high speed from NJ to upstate NY and then use the vehicle in woods hauling logging equipment. Never a problem.

I've got roughly 20000 miles on them and I'm down to 6/32nds. Called cooper and they said that "the wear is about right" for that amount of miles! These tires are great when new however the wear on them is terrible! It's too bad because I really liked them but for the amount of money spent I feel slighted! And Coopers reluctance to acknowledge that type of wear is concerning! Ultimately I guess I'll have to shop for a competitors brand!
