The Discoverer H/T Plus™ is an extension of Cooper´s Discoverer H/T™ SUV/Light truck touring line that features sport truck and original equipment sizing in a non-directional platform. It provides an excellent replacement for the 20-inch original equipment fitments on full-size pickups and SUVs as well as "plus fitments" for drivers seeking to upgrade the looks and handling of their vehicles.

  • Optimized Pitch Sequence By Size. The Discoverer H/T Plus™ varies the number of shoulder elements based on tire size, which reduces noise frequency, allowing a quiet ride.
  • Rim Protector. A rubber rim protector extends beyond the rim flange and decreases the chance of rim damage that can occur if a tire/wheel assembly scuffs a curb.
  • Optimized Tire Profile. The slightly rounded mold profile of the Discoverer H/T Plus™ balances wet traction and long tread life.
  • All-Weather Tread. "See-through" grooves, wide, lateral traction slots and high sipe density provide excellent all-weather performance.

2008 Durango AWD, 265/60/18 -replaced Wranglers with these. I thought the ride would improve but I think it has gotten worse I replace the Wrangler in 10/12 with close to 60K miles on them as the wet handling was degraded and I knew the winter would be tougher. The wear on the Coopers is great, rotated every 6K miles, tread still looks great. I think the handling is slightly improved over the Wranglers, gas mileage might be slightly lower. I used to hit 20 MPG on all Interstate miles, now have only hit 17 MPG on Interstate only travel. Around town is 13 MPG winter and 15 MPG summer with the Coopers, Wranglers seemed to be about 1 MPG better around town at the low end.
