There is no doubt I can tell that this tire is below performance. It's not suitable for cornering or sports purpose. I always feels my Sti lose it's grip anytime if I try harder, not even said when it's on wet road, uncomfortable and unstable moves when drive fast. Basically it's prices tells the truth, I'm gonna throw this garbage, even toyo T1R is much much better.

Had it for 1000 km and it's nice and quite, with good grip on dry pavement. It's also quieter than my Continental Procontact tires. It's more suitable for all season except snow due to large tread block design. Would recommend it.

i do a lot of endurance road racing on a budget, i purchased these tires because of the compoud layout accross the contact pad. love the tires for hard corrnering and acceleration. the tires do slip a little in the rain and wet roads, this is common with the meduim/hard compound. however these tires so slide when they become over headed on dry pavement. overall great tire for the price.if you know how to handel your car these tires will perfom great. i do not recomend for snow use. the tires do have to be lightly heated to perform at its best. also the guys with the lowered integras and lowered civics the tres are designed to be used woth 1-2 degreese of negative camber not 3. side wall strength is excelent when diving through a tight s turn. holds a good response from the steering wheel.

So far in my first 1000 miles on these tires I was able to aggressively test them enough for handling and stopping on dry and wet road conditions to say that they performed much better than I expected. As for comfort and road noise, I would say the comfort ride level is above average and the road tire noise is fairly quite even with windows rolled down. As for snow traction I have no idea since I live in Florida but some reviews have mentioned decent results even though the DZ101 is actually performs best in warmer weather. Now keep in mind, my 528it pretty much handles well even with worn tires so I think how your vehicle handles will be the overall deciding factor whether this tire is suited for you. Simply put, an aggressive driver with a vehicle with average to poor handling capabilities (suspension) become more reliant on the tires themselves and really should consider getting the best quality tires possible. I can bet some of the drivers who have been getting poor handling results especially in wet road conditions probably have their tires installed backwards. Remember, these tires are directional "Direzza" especially for hydroplaning and cornering. Even though I am still a true beleiver in Michelin after all these years of trying some of the best tires on the market, so far the overall performance of the DZ101 has been impressive for the money spent and if they keep performing reasonably well I would buy again if I am on a tight budget.
