If there were lower ratings I would give them for treadwear, noise and handling. My van requires 80 lbs of pressure in the rear tires, so it takes an E / load rated tire. These tires crown at that pressure which gives the sway people have commented on. The tires had terrible sway until the middle of the rear tires wore down significantly. Then, after 10,000 miles they were completely bald in the middle with plenty of tred on the edges - typical wear for an overinflated tire, except that these tires are supposed to be ok at that pressure. One of the tires showing the unusual treadwear totally separated while on the highway and blew like a semi tire. The experience was enough to swear off these cheaply constructed tires. Pay the extra $ for the Michelin LTX. Don't make the mistake I made.

I couldn't find (everywhere said unavailable) the original tire- the B.F.
Goodrich Long Trail T/A in my size,so I bought the Dunlops.I like the
tread better,but I feel every bump and the road noise is WAY too much.
All in all,I'd take the B.F.G.'s over the Dunlops.

I bought these for my old Ram. I like them alot. The bite on snow and ice is pretty amazing. When I first got these tires I hated them as the felt really soft, and the truck seemed to wander on the highway badly. However after about 400-500 miles they improved greatly and now feel pretty good. The only issue I can see is that they will probably be a 40,000 mile tire at best. That snow and ice grip comes for the tire being a softer rubber compund and that translates to shorter tire life.

Just Bought a set at Sams club in Wilkes Barre,pa., Nice tread design,very quiet tire,did notice a handling issue(swaying),didn't seem too severe. Hope I'll be happy with them.

Just bought a set today. LT245/75R/16 . Really smooth ride for a LT (E) rated tire. However the truck swayed badly. Noticable sway at 35 mph and gets really scary at 60. Never did that before. I'm taking them back.
