Dunlop SP Sport Signature High Performance All-Season tire.

A new all-season performance tire from Dunlop combines the wet-road gripping power of Hydro-Paddles and a new Dry Performance Sector for enhanced cornering on twisting country roads. The new Dunlop SP Sport Signature® performance tire, a cousin to the brand's family-car Signature brand, is "built for the growing numbers of performance drivers who demand all-season traction and enhanced tread life to go with cornering G-forces." Located inboard, the Wet Performance Sector features Dunlop's Hydro-Paddle Technology, a hydrodynamic feature that literally helps pump water through a narrow channel and away from the tire, silica tread compounds that help maintain grip on wet surfaces, and full-depth sipes for enhanced water evacuation. Outboard, the tire's Dry Performance Sector uses a solid shoulder area for enhanced dry handling, straight sipes for a stiff solid contact surface and a solid center rib for enhanced road feedback for stability and driving confidence.

Do not buy these tires. I just had my snow tires installed for the winter and they are quieter than these tires.

I bought this tire for my turbo Sonata because they can be rotated across all 4 weeks, being asymmetrical. I was concerned about premature tire wear. Treadwear has actually been fine after 25k miles. Noise is average for a performance-oriented tire, but my winter tires are definitely noisier. The other thing I liked is that they can handle a light winter storm. They were a downgrade from my summer Falkens FK452 in dry handling. They feel "floatier" than those tires and they do not handle quite as well either. Still, dry handling is FAR better than the junk stock optimo's the car came with. They do not tramline like my Falkens did, though. They are not very good in wet and have poor resistance to hydroplaning. They break free constantly at highway speeds and I am very afraid of hydroplaning. I'm at 50% tire life and they sometimes scare me. They are especially bad approaching freezing temps, when they can't get up to temp. During run of the mill rainstorms, cars fly by me but I'm struggling to keep the sonata on the road at 55. If anyone is wondering how they are in snow- I got caught in an early season snowstorm. They will be safe up to 2in of snow and that's it. Starting uphill is toughest, but once you get going you can generally maintain from there. Still this is an emergency-only winter tire. I haven't got caught in ice yet with this tire (thank god!). Overall I would probably buy again. It's hard to find asymmetrical sport tires like this.
