Three 265/35R-22 102H XL B FALKEN ZIEX S/TZ04 AS tires "SEPARATED". I went to Discount Tire located at 1001 LOOP 336 WEST, Conroe Texas to have my tires balanced and rotated when I was told the Falken tires were defective. The Manager Jeffrey L Bolt tried to inform me that I would need the extra warranty coverage to recovery any of my cost until I looked up Falken number and called the number myself. I spoke with Tim Widener - Product Engineer and Le Ann Martinez - Quality Assurance Administrator, at the warranty number 800-723-2553 about the three 265/35R-22 102H XL B FALKEN ZIEX S/TZ04 AS tires that "SEPARATED" on my wife's 300 Chrysler SRT8. I went to have the free balance and rotate and got my pockets picked to the tune of $357.36 plus a new re-alignment at $174.00. This is not including time and effort spent in trying to resolve this matter with the former named. I also emailed Darren Thomas, vice president of sales at DThomas (at) Falkentire (dot) com; He did not contact me. I now own the domain Falken-Tires-Suck dot com. Falken was recommended to me on my local forum by other 300 SRT8 owners so I feel compelled to set the record straight. I am David Huggins.

So I just picked these up at my local BIG O in Benicia, CA. They did a great job by the way. Now I have only put about 200 miles or so on these tires and it's summer here now so I cannot honestly rate the wet traction, snow, or treadwear yet but I must say that these tires are GREAT so far. Very smooth, quite ride and handle great in the corners. Got them up to 85 MPH on the freeway and they were gliding like ice skates on ice...no wobble or loud tire noise...just a nice little humming sound (and I did have the front windows rolled down). The tread pattern looks very nice and I love the way they look on my charcoal grey Nissan Titan. I will have to come back in May of 2013 and update this review as I'm sure we will have some rain by then. Plus, I will probably have put at least 3000 to 5000 more miles on them so I will be able to about the treadwear as well. Not sure if I'll make it up to the snow but, if I do I will update that also. All I can say for now is, I LOVE THESE TIRES!

These tires are very good, especially for the price; but even if they were 50% more expensive, they would still rate as excellent. Noise level is more than acceptable, I would even say they are quiet compared to other SUV tires. I can't rate them for winter use, as I have a different set for winter driving (Pirelli's); but for summer driving, these tires are awesome. Grip is excellent, as I like to drive hard in corners, and they make my Land Rover handle corners like a car - almost. Don't hesitate putting a set of these under your car.
