Spirit of the All Season Performance Tire

Imagine an all season performance tire designed to offer true grip and increased traction that ultimately advances driver confidence whatever the weather condition. With the ZIEX ZE912, Falken has developed a tire with full-depth sipes encircling the tread, coupled with high-volume circumferential grooves and high angle variable cross grooves, that bring together the spirit of performance driving in all climates. When faced with wet conditions, the ZIEX ZE912 features increased hydroplane resistance and increased tread stability by evacuating water away, delivering improved grip composure, while its hybrid-asymmetric pattern produces better dry performance and genuine touring confidence during each and every season. The result is a tire that performs regardless of the condition of the road.

  • Hybrid-Asymmetric Pattern Design – Optimized inside and outside tread patterns to ensure all-season grip on demand
  • Infinite Sipe Sequence – Full-depth sipes throughout the entire tread platform creating biting edges that dramatically increase traction in all seasons
  • Rotation Wear Indicators (RWI) – Falken engineered visual cues that help the driver maximize tire life and overall tire value, prompting regular tire maintenance
  • Four High-Volume Circumferential Grooves – Designed to deliver increased hydroplane resistance and maximum stability in wet conditions
  • High Angle Variable Cross Grooves – In inclement weather conditions, these grooves effectively evacuate water away from the contact patch

Worst tire for driving in the snow ever. Making left hand turn at 5 miles an hour in 2 inches of snow car turn partially and slid halfway into a ditch. And on the straight away I can feel the tires breaking loose. Sincerely Minnesota driver.

Owned these now for about 35,000 miles. Yes- they are bald, with tread bars showing. And yes I'm hey are excellent tires. I drive mostly on California freeways and almost always in dry, warmish climates. My commute is 48mi one way 3x a week. Dry traction is great upon breakin. Cornering was pretty good for the price, and as my commute goes through a canyon/ alot of twists n turns. Tires will chirp wen becoming squirrelly before letting go. Tires still look great for being bald from side view. Road noise has never been great/ 4/5, but as tread 10k was 3/5, now is radio tunned out at 2/5 being slicks. Comfort is slightly lacking in my range of 205/50/16-- with a firmer feel. Guess thats why they are speed rated and sport class. You will feel the road more, but responsiveness vs comfort is WHY u buy these. Now for wet: never stellar even when in tread depth, had some heavy rains and would get a loose feel from my box, which was on stock setup. but per raining, it was acceptable at 55-70 mph unless hitting puddles; again i have VERY steep curves to commute. I never did feel scared and traction was always predictable even in torrential downpours. Would highly recommend and would buy again and they have been fantastic tires for the 2.5 yrs ive owned them! Most likely (like 99.9999%) the tire failure on 3/1/2016 is a puncture allowing the tire to run at Interstate speeds at 2 to 3 PSI. Nearly impossible for the driver to detect. Any tire, even brand new, will fail in the same manner. I am a Tire Expert who has testified in all 50 States in tire litigation to determine whether a tire caused an accident. The snow value above is fictitious as the car has yet to see snow.
