Firestone is an American tire brand that has driven innovation for over 100 years. Founded in 1900 by Harvey Firestone in Akron, Ohio, Firestone originally created tires for buggies, wagons and farm equipment. Later, Firestone partnered with Henry Ford as the OE manufacturer of tires for the Ford Model T. Firestone has led a legacy on and off the racetrack. Using the test as testing grounds, and gaining success at the Indy 500, Firestone has pushed forward to create tires of exemplary performance. It is this background that supplied Firestone with the grit and determination to produce car and truck tires that empower today’s vehicles to drive farther, grip the road better, and work harder. They continue to build on this legacy by working to reduce emissions in production as well as to increase the lifecycle of their products. Firestone’s brands include Firehawk, Winterforce, Destination, Transforce, Affinity, Precision.
