The Destination M/T is the first Firestone light truck tire with exclusive UNI-T technology to advance wet handling and braking. With deep skid lugs, 3 body ply construction, over-the-shoulder tread/lug design and our special Rim Gaurd Off-Road Protector Rib, the Destination M/T is as tough and durable as it looks.

  • Innovative Tire Design method improves handling in wet or dry conditions and reduces irregular treadwear by combining the ideal tread design, casing shape, materials and construction.
  • Innovative Compound - L.L. Carbon utilizes a special form of molecular re-engineered carbon black, a key factor in improving tire wear while enhancing wet performance.
  • Rim Guard Off-Road Proctector Rib helps protect the tire by deflecting off-road debris from between the tire bead and rim area, keeping the lower sidewall stiffer and making the bead fit tighter to the rim.
  • Dura-Loc 3.0 is a unique high-strength tie-in construction, combining 3 full polyester body plies, 2 high-tensile steel cord belts and a full spiral-wrapped nylon cap ply for outstanding resistance to on- and off-highway hazards.
  • Pinned for studs for extra grip in winter conditions.

Crazy good in mud and clay. Hills no problem. Self clean very well. Very good in snowy adverse conditions. With lockers almost unstoppable. Great tread wear. Had some chunking after digging into an icy gravel road but not bad. Will definitely purchase again! Better than most and competitively priced. Most applications two wheel drive is all that's needed. Inspires confidence in most situations and terrain.

Great tire for Illinois. Great in wet weather. Excellent in snow and mud. I can safely drive in 2 wheel drive in the winter with these. I also got 58000 on my last set and I never rotated them. They do hum and they will pick up gravel in the lugs and fling it but oh well. Heres to my next set. 1998 Chevy K1500 Z71. 285/75/16R on stock rims.

We just put these tires on yesterday and talked my wife into a little wheelin to try em out. First please ignore the snow and tread wear bars as I had to put something down. There is no snow and we barely have 40 miles on them but this I can tell you. We purchased the Destination MT after careful selection and tone of review reading. We have found, that besides looking terrific, its road characteristics are excellent even at highway speeds. I have always run BFG TA/KO's because of how they wear and handle in most conditons, but what turned me off to the BFG's was that once they are half way down on tread, they suffer greatly in the mud and snow The Destination makes you feel like you are riding on a cushion of confidence. I know that may sound weird but that is the only way I can explain it. There is so much tread that it separates you from the road but without sacrificing the intimacy you must have to off-road confidently. We took it up some very steep grades on severely rutted and rocky roads up to Mt. Union Prescott, AZ. We never had to engage the front diff. We didn't even spin! I inspected and there were no missing lugs or tread damage of any kind. I will write more after this monsoons around Aug during archery deer this year and tell you how they did in mud. As far as I am concerned these tires rock and were worth the money
