Worst tire I've ever owned, and I'm not all that picky. The handling of my Accord with these tires is terrible - very mushy. Should leave my snows on. Can;t wait for these to wear out.

I've put over 50k miles on my set and am ordering another at this moment. These are a very good set of tires for the price. I put a "3" in the snow category but I live in South Texas and haven't seen measurable snow in forever! Dry and wet weather? These tires are EXCELLENT!

Almost 6000 miles on these tires. Road noise is terrible, continuous drone at all speeds after 40MPH. Replaced Michelin tires with these at 46k, road grip in dry and wet conditions seem to be on par with Michelin but not in snow conditions. Handling is poor when accelerated during turns.
Road noise is the biggest complaint from me, its terrible. My car used to be super quiet even at 80mph, with these tires the continuous drone starts at 40mph and gets worse with the speed. In wet conditions the noise seems to be little better .

After 52,400 miles and winter on the way, need to replace them. Still a lot of tread, but two tires have too much wear on the outer edge, perhaps due to underinflation or alignment issues. So obviously I have had good wear performance. Quiet tire. Good ride. No vibration or any issues at all. Good on water and snow. I was looking for a more aggressive tire for snow, but after researching what is available in this size and reading countless reviews on line, I think I will buy another set of Altimax HP. A lot of drivers seem unhappy with other model tires and I have been happy with these.

I don't know if my feedback will help anyone... But I have huge problems with these tires right now.
They are vibrating like a hell on 40 Km/hour. The whole car is shaking like crazy. I used them on multifit rims and then I bought Honda's original rims. Didn't help.
After a month my local store was very nice to change ALL 4 tires to brand new ones, same model Altimax HP. Same problem...
Two days ago I decided to take off one wheel and check Road Force on Hunter GSP9700 at my local dealer. They've tested it and it was 36 lbs. The best they could do was 17 lbs, which is very bad anyway.
I'm going to test other 3 wheels for road force, however I'm convinced that all of them are defected and out of round. These tires are made in Brazil.
I'm going to get rid of them and buy another brand. I'm tired of that problem since March 2012.
Need to mention that I have separate set of winter tires Altimax Arctic + Honda rims and they are great, no vibration. They are made in Germany though.
