These tires are shown as being the original equipment tires GM put on their Volts. In my view they are severely below normal durability. My Volt's FL tire was replaced at 17K miles (slow leak) followed by the RR failing at 24K miles (catastrophic failure). Despite the usual pothole and road debris encounters my previous set of Pirelli P4 tires ran 115K+ miles failure free and the Michelins I had before them lasted 64K miles without a failure. Additionally, I see my two remaining factory tires are down to 6/32 to 7/32 of an inch tread after only 24K miles which might explain the Volt’s distressingly poor grip in rain and snow. To put that in perspective, the aforementioned Pirelli tires still had from 5/32 to 7/32 of an inch tread left when at 115K miles. These tires are not cheap to begin with, but having them seemingly need replacing at the rate of one tire roughly every 6K to 12K miles, not to mention the potential danger inherent in having a tire failure on the interstate or in unsafe areas, makes it worse. I gather my experience is not a fluke. A visit to a Volt owners' site found complaints of 5 flats in 36K miles, 2 flats in under a year, 3 flats in 3 months, 2 flats in one year, 4 flats in a year and a half, 2 flats in 10 months and 2 flats in 22K miles. Such dismal reliability and related replacement expenses more than negate any increase in fuel efficiency. Referenced site: http://www.mychevroletvolt.com/chevy-volt-flat-tir

These were the original tires that came with my Lexus. At first I was disappointed in the vehicle, thinking it was letting all this road noise in and the ride wasn't as smooth as I thought it should be. It turns out it was the tires! I purchased a set of Firestone Destination LE2s, and the difference is night and day! These tires are so loud that I replaced them at 50,000 miles instead of waiting for them to reach 65,000. Likes Decent handling on wet and snowy roads Dislikes Extremely loud tires - the loudest tires I have ever owned Harsh ride Average treadwear - but could not wait to replace them

I've read several comment about these tires being noisy and I have no idea what these people are talking about. This is the 4th set of tires I've put on this vehicle and these are the quietest of the lot. They're almost silent. They ride smoothly and dry/wet cornering is great. I can't speak to snow capability since I have not had the opportunity to experience that yet.

I managed to get 80,000 miles off these tires with absolutely zero issues from them. Since I bought these tires four years ago, my mpg has notably increased for both city and highway driving. Buying these same tires again!
