On snow and ice these tires perform much better than any all season, however as temperatures dip below -10C grip considerably deteriorates. This is a sign of a common compromise carried over from all season tires: longer longevity requires a harder rubber compound, not so good in extreme cold. Tires are very quiet and provide good handling on dry and wet pavement. I would recommend these tires to those who get average amounts of ice/snow on winter and who know to modify their driving to account for weather conditions.

Terrible, terrible, terrible winter tyres. I have these on an SUV.. on snow it would slide around corners even at 10 kph .. I felt 10 times more secure on snow and ice with my old front wheel car with fittet Gislaved tyres on it, than with the modern 4x4 SUV with these Hankooks. Honestly.. I am not a "sunday" driver.. I am a skier and experiensed driver on snow.. would not recomend these tyres to anyone excelt if they have snow once in a winter or so..

Im the ower of C & S Performance in Cranbrook,b.c and i would just like to say im very pleased with the customer service at 1010tires Richmond. I got these tires installed and drove 12Hr back to cranbrook in heavy vancouver rain, but was disappointed in the snow on the crowesnest highway. Good all around tire but isnt designed for deep heavy snow, so please be cautious and watch your road condition. Craig
