I have these tires on 4 vehicles and they are excellent. We just put them on my wife's 4WD Pathfinder this year and haven't really been tested yet. I have them on a front wheel drive Honda van and they have handled everything Vermont winters have given us the past 3 years. My son, who is young and pretty inexperienced overall, has them on his Rogue and feels as though his car is a "beast" in the winter and has no problem driving in winter like he is an old pro. I have a rear wheel drive "SUV" and I have to put weight in the back to weigh down the rear tires for extra traction, but with these tires, I have done remarkably well over the years. I have seen a couple people say don't use them in the summer....well you're not supposed to. They are "winter" tires made for below 45 degrees and the tread will wear fast in the summer, hence being caller winter tires. The studs are a little noisy, on dry roads, but I can deal with that for a few months for the benefit you get; and actually pretty quite on snow. This is my 4th winter with these tires and they still have very deep tread (on Nov/Dec and off by April)

I've got a set of studded ipikes and live in regina canada. They have been a good tire for my grand Cherokee. The jeep is pretty good in the snow so hard to say how much is the 4x4 system and how much is the tires. I've never used any other winter tire on the jeep so don't have a good comparison. I will say that I won't by studded again as regina is pretty flat and the studs are noisy and annoying when the roads are clear. But on the few days where we find ourselves on an ice road the tires are great.

I've had this tire for two years now and I only run them in the cold months due to premature wear. I find these are 5 star in the snow and ice and found myself easily passing vehicles that were stuck or spinning out. My car has all wheel drive which makes it pretty good but when I put these tires on I found the grip was incredible under power and braking. I wouldn't recommend driving these in the summer time because of the soft rubber. It's a positive in the winter but once it becomes hot they would wear out a bit quicker. I would definitely buy these again. Handling was ok, its what I would expect from a snow tire.
