The tires are a month old on my car and we've experienced our first major snowfall yesterday. With my corolla, I was able to plow through fresh snow and compacted snow! I parked on the side street and my car was trapped within a snow bank after a snow plow passed and by golly, I was out of there like there was no snow. On dry pavement, the handling is slightly worse than my all-seasons, but by far, in the snow, it handles so well: I steer with one hand on fresh or compacted snow alike. Braking under snowy conditions is excellent! I failed to see a stop sign once, and suddenly braked; I was pleasantly surprised that the car stopped in a jiffy. I would've easily shot through that stopped sign had I not have these tires on. I never expected to like these tires as much as I liked my Blizzaks WS70 but I must say, I'm beyond impressed. I would buy another set right now if I have to.

Been running Hankook iPike snow tires for years on all my vehicles. Good value for the money and really, how fast can you safely drive in the winter anyway? On a rear-drive V8 these snow tires are good, get me through the snow and ice. The posi-traction and studded tires on the drive wheels are the way to go in winter on a rear drive car. This is the first year with the new iPike RS tire so we'll see how it compares to the old iPike - they look the same. Lowered my expectations for performance and handling in the winter. So far they keep me outta trouble and get from A to B with little drama.

Have had these on my M35 for two seasons (starting third winter now) - great winter tires - never once had any issues. I could do slaloms around everyone in the snow. This is the definition of a great winter tire - when you can drive around without even caring if there is snow on the ground or not. We drove from Edmonton to Calgary once in our second season with these tires - and hit blizzard conditions for an hour of driving with no visibility and lots of snow on the highway - but I could drive with confidence thanks to these tires - had absolutely no issues - the traction control didn't even come on once. Highly recommended!

I bought a full set of these late last fall for my Mazda 3 and had them studded, I live in Northern Ontario where we see a lot of snow, cold weather and insufficient road maintenance, these tires were wonderful! I installed them about two weeks after the first snow and it it was like buying a new car. On acceleration the tires will still spin when leaving icy intersections but it is greatly reduced i would say around 75%. Once moving the car is SOLID, great traction on snow packed and icy highways and in fairly deep snow. The only real downfall is in breaking performance because of the studs, the rear end of the car tends to loose traction and sway left to right when breaking hard but this is a normal downfall of all studded tires. i would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe winter drive.

These are terrible tires at turnpike speeds on dry or wet conditions given their unbelievable soft side walls causing constant trammelling. In snow conditions they plow and push not cut through. Notwithstanding the embarrassing squishing sound on acceleration in the city and drone on the highway. The very worst $800 decision I have ever made!! Cant wait until the Spring yard sale to dump them out!
