Best tire PERIOD! I driven on just about everything worth a damn. From Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop (before goodyear bought 'em) Michellin, Firestone you name it. The Ecsta ASX replaced the Supra and kept some of the same design while adding a second channel for increased grip in turns. Best daily tire I've owned, hands down. Kumho makes the best racing slicks too. The only reason these tires could get a bad review comes down to two things:
1) Improper installation. These tires (because of their design) only rotate in one direction. If installed against the rotation arrow mark on the side, they will handle as described in some of the reviews with poor performance, hydroplaning in water etc.
2) The tires are so good, other tire makers are bad mouthing them because they are made in China. Mickey Thompson has probably put a hit out on 'em!
Go get a set and see for yourself. Don't be fooled by the haters.

Excellent tire! Sustained 180kph no problem. Confidence inspiring & razor sharp response. Good even treadwear! Had them to the wear bars & just replaced with Falken 912, I like the Ecsta ASX better.
I drove this tire hard, I pass by mountain passes on my way to work everyday, this tire is a joy.
Only gripe is once the smaller sipes are gone & you are nearing the wear bars, it tends to hydroplane at high speeds but below 80 is ok.
I have dedicated winter tires & snow rating is not accurate.
I keep my tires inflated properly & check tire pressure every month. I also rotate every 10,000km.

I've had these tires for a little over a year now. Great tires! I've driven over 30,000 in this time. I've driven in wet, monsoon rains, semi-deep snow and hot and dry. Great handling, comfort, low noise and I recently had one of the tires off of the car and the tread was still very deep. I'm a smart driver...don't peel out at starts, don't come to agressive stops, etc. So, maybe it's the driver that makes the difference on the treadwear of this tire...(unlike many of the reviews here). This tire to me was worth every penny. Only problem I had, was a nail in the tread the other day while driving about 70mph. It took a while before I could pull over to the side. In this short time, the inside of the sidewall was trashed and I had to buy a whole new tire. This tire is hard to find and cost much more this time than it did a year ago.

I was very impressed with the handling characteristics of these tires. On my BMW, they really did stick like poop to a blanket in the wet or dry. It did bear the M+S logo, however I found that they were next to useless in the snow (especially on a RWD BMW with no traction control). I really loved how they were quieter than Michelins too. I would recommend these, especially considering their very reasonable price.
