The Solus KH16 is KUMHO's Grand Touring All-Season offering developed for the drivers of sporty coupes and sedans. Solus KH16 tires were designed to offer a harmonious balance of noise comfort, ride comfort and handling performance, along with dry, wet and year-round traction, even in light snow

The Solus KH16 is refined through the use of KUMHO's ESCOT Technology that optimizes the tire's shape, internal tension and footprint contact pressure. On the outside, the Solus KH16 tires feature an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design that features full-depth circumferential and multiple lateral grooves to enhance traction in rain and light snow. On the inside, twin steel belts are reinforced by nylon belt edge strips to provide high speed stability and durability, while polyester body plies provide carcass strength and a smooth ride

These are factory tires. After 2 years and 14,000 miles, the rear tires were worn out. Car needed a wheel alignment, and I revved the tires to skidding during the winter to try to gain traction, so this may account for some wear, but these tires were worn out. The front tires aren't worn nearly as much, however. On the plus side, the tires are reasonably quiet and handle well in warm dry and wet weather.

These tires are as good as Goodyear's on a sunny day and in a straight line. And like Goodyear's, the treadwear is ridiculous. 20,000-40,000kms tops. How they can possibly rate these as all season is beyond me. If it just even looks like it might snow, these things start to lose grip. I have lived in the country for 37 yrs, never even owned a set of snow tires and have had no issues until I tried to drive with these. These are perfect stock OEM tires because all they are good for is the test drive at the dealership, just don't take that test drive if it looks like snow!
