They seem ok, there is little special about them, they are a bit stiff, and have a very slight whirr sound on the highway, almost inaudible but definitely there
The treadwear rating is very impressive if it turns out to be true, and the improved mileage claims are not as good as their eco tire, this is meant as an average at everything tire, decent mileage, good treadwear, average comfort and control.
I have no snow experience but the site requires it so i gave it a 3 assuming it will be an average all season, though in the rain they seemed fine, but a review i found online before buying them shows they have a little less rain traction then some of their competitors.

Very happy with decision to go with these. For the same price as other similar tires (Goodyear Allegro from CT, Yoko) you get 30% more claimed tread wear. Sound from the tire is quiet, subtle, muffled, dull and overall very quiet...and that's with the windows open. Ride is very comfortable absorbing poor road conditions very well. For a normal vehicle, like my CRV, for daily driving around of my family, this set of tires is super easy to live with. They are made in the USA, brand name Michelins with a great warranty. I paid $859 all in (installation, balance, enviro fee, tax) plus I'm sending in for the $70 rebate.

First time replacement of Versa's OEM tire (Conti Pro Contact) after 73K kilometres with set of Michelin Defender tires - hopefully for longer life up to 100K kilometers. After one month of commuter driving on smooth highway and humpy, curvy backroads the new Defender are reasonably quiet, grippy, but show less 'performance' in the curves and rough road - harder road feel there and more 'float' which can be expected from a touring tire rather than a HP tire.

I put new defender tires on my Ford Escape 4x4. I drove them for 1000 km and cannot comment on fuel efficiency or treadwear. I am impressed by the handling on dry, wet, muddy, snowy and icy road conditions. They are a smooth ride, quiet and comfortable on Highway. They grip perfectly in moderate mud, and cut through puddles like a knife without losing traction. I recently got to test them during an April-spring-storm in Alberta with 20 cm of fresh snow and slush where they provided perfect grip and traction. This is an amazing tire.
