Michelin LTX M/S2

Michelin LTX M/S2 on-road highway tires offer an exceptional combination of performances for light trucks and SUVs. The new 3-D Active Sipes and optimized contact patch of MaxTouch construction combine to deliver 32,000 more kilometers than the competition. New silica tread compounds and better lateral water evacuation to help you stop 2.2 meters shorter than the competitor's tire. Plus, with 8% more biting edges this tire delivers better snow traction than the legendary LTX M/S tire. The extra steel belt in all LT sizes provides incredible durability and strength to handle loads.

Completely devoid of traction in snow. Rain and mud are also difficult for these tires to navigate. They are fantastic on dry pavement though.

I just purchased the second set of M/S 2 Tires. The first set I owned where on a work truck in the Oilfield. They where put through hell and never had a problem. I put 98000 miles on them over bad roads and highways. These are the best tires I have ever owned. So when I purchased my current truck used it had a set of Saffiro Maxtrac tires on it. They began to fall apart after 10000 miles mild use. So after my fourth flat on four different tires I decided to go with the tried and true and put the M/S2s on my truck. First impressions are good. seems to take bumps a little harder but thats ok. Mileage improved slightly and the ride is much Quiter. Will keep informed if anything changes

I have used Michelin LTX M/S tires exclusively on my tundra after I ditched the factory Dunlops....poor grip and noisy, not to mention poor mileage. Although I have never achieved the nominal mileage with them, I prefer handling and braking performance over tire wear every and any day. These new M/S2 tires are noticeably quieter on the road than my old LTX ones. They seem to grip a bit better as well. I like them a lot.

Used to have Michelin tires a long time ago and it did performed very well. My old FS tires are getting old and so I have to go back to my favorite branch Michelin with this newer version LTX M-S2. I've been enjoying the smooth ride ever on the road or off road. Traction is great and very quite. You will never regret getting these tires. And also the service, great experience, Installation was done in half an hour. Thanks.
