The Pilot® Sport A/S™ 3 is Michelin´s ultimate Ultra High Performance All-Season Tire with the highest level of performance and grip in all driving conditions..

  • Variable thickness sipes provide additional biting edges in low–grip conditions to improve wet and snow traction, but lock together in dry conditions to provide crisp handling and longer tread wear.
  • Unique biting edges in the grooves grip snow for better acceleration and braking in snowy conditions.
  • Helio compound with sunflower oil helps to increase traction at low temperatures, while X-Sil extreme silica technology provides exceptional wet grip.
  • Asymetric tread pattern and Variable Contact Patch 2.0 design result in strong dry performance combined with long tread life.

These are nothing short of amazing in the dry and wet. I often take corners at double the recommended speed, and they never even make a squeak. They are also extremely secure in pouring rain. BUT in the first decent snow they became frozen bricks, and only my beloved quattro saved me from hitting some curbs. I had never been scared in 8 years of driving Audis through snow storms, until now. I never buy snow tires, as all of my all-seasons have performed great (Potenza, Eagle, P6, etc.), so to call these Michelins all-season is a lie. If you don't live in the South or SoCal, do yourself a favor and don't get caught with these after October.

Didn't use these in winter but they are fantastic on my Kia Optima SX Turbo. Really smooth ride. Great handling.

I drive primarily on windy mountain roads. These are the best tires I've ever used. I think the AS/3 perform better than the PS3, which I had previously. I have no issue with the handling, it's solid. The noise seems to be acceptable as I only drive highway and there's always a bit of exterior noise, but it doesn't bother me. I've only ever driven them briefly in snow, but they seem to be fine for the task. The only downside that I've found is the treadwear. They wear a bit fast - I was down to 3/32 in about 25000 km. However, the warranty took care of that! I'm very happy with the tires and would definitely buy them again!
