The Pilot® Sport A/S™ 3 is Michelin´s ultimate Ultra High Performance All-Season Tire with the highest level of performance and grip in all driving conditions..

  • Variable thickness sipes provide additional biting edges in low–grip conditions to improve wet and snow traction, but lock together in dry conditions to provide crisp handling and longer tread wear.
  • Unique biting edges in the grooves grip snow for better acceleration and braking in snowy conditions.
  • Helio compound with sunflower oil helps to increase traction at low temperatures, while X-Sil extreme silica technology provides exceptional wet grip.
  • Asymetric tread pattern and Variable Contact Patch 2.0 design result in strong dry performance combined with long tread life.

Best tires I have ever owned. These are REALLY awesome! They feel like a track tire on dry pavement and an awesome tire on wet. The handling is crazy and the comfort is also great! Little bit of road noise when the windows are down, but no big deal.

The Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires previously on my car offered incredible traction even in packed snow. They did suffer from unusual wear though and for that reason I decided to try the A/S 3 tire. However, shame on Michelin for introducing new Ultra-High Performance tires that go backwards in terms of traction by a fair margin. The tires perform worse than the A/S Plus even in dry/wet conditions and pretty poorly in snow conditions. Yes, overall they are better than typical All-Season tires but I would go back to the A/S Plus tires in a heartbeat.

Love these tires. Have them on three different vehicles here in the pacific northwest. Very good on dry days & amazing on wet days.

I have a vehicle that has larger front tires than the rear so I'm unable to rotate them. This being the case I have gone thru 2 sets of front tires and the rears still have LOTS of tread on them. The first set wore out at about 12k miles and the second set wore out on the inside so I didn't notice till it snowed and I got ZERO traction because they were bald and had the cables showing thru (about 14k miles on them). Had the car checked and my alignment is dead on so that wasn't the reason. For those of you in winter areas, I bought the first set of tires in October and had ZERO problems in snow and I live in southern PA. Just need to be sure there's plenty of tread.
