I put four of these tires on a 2014 Toyota Corolla LE model. Have driven them on dry pavement, wet pavement, snow, and ice. The handling on dry and wet pavement feels like an all-season tire (good traction on both). The snow traction is good as well, provided I am driving at a speed proper for the condition (lower than the speed limit). Where these tires shined for me was ICE. We had an ice storm here in the northwest, and the temperature hovered around 24-28 degrees for the whole weekend. Rain started falling and froze on the roads, creating about a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch layer of ice everywhere. If I kept my speed to about 30-40 MPH on the freeway (reasonable for the conditions), I was able to keep excellent traction even in high wind. My traction control never activated ONCE. Coming to a stop at an off-ramp (downward angle) felt very safe (no sideways sliding at all). The only time I slipped (slightly) was in making a sharp turn (90 degree angle). My car did slide a bit, but I regained traction rapidly and continued on my way. The key for me was to slow down prior to entering the turn, below the speed of which I would normally make a turn on dry pavement. Overall, I LIKE these tires a lot. If you are careful to drive for the conditions (meaning reduce your speed below what you would drive in a sunny day in July) you will have no problem at all with traction on SNOW or ICE. These tires gave me a BIG boost in confidence even when I am terrified of driving in snowy or icy conditions. No tires will make up for bad driving habits in the winter time, but if you are careful to SLOW DOWN when conditions warrant, these tires will help you make it to your destination safely.

The difference is night and day compared to my four year old altimax artic. Xice 3 is way quieter and way more comfortable. Very happy with the purchase. My only concern is about the fuel economy. There is no noticeable improvement in gas mileage compared to my old snow tires. Also tires take some time to break in. I installed new tires right before a major snow storm and the traction control lite and and lite keep kicking in. After about 300miles, the moulding oil wore off and everything is fine

have only had the tires on for just over a month and mostly been either dry or wet roads. Tires feel very good and ride is pretty good. What snow we've seen so far, the tires handle very well. I'll give another review in the spring when we've done the entire winter. loving them so far.
