Just took them off, did one whole brutal winter with them and had no problems. Nexen isn't a very known brand but for those who know it will understand it is worth it for what you get.

Excellent value tire. Had them mounted after running the previous winter on "no-season" tires and the difference is night and day! I decided against having them studded mainly out of laziness but I do not regret it one bit. These little Nexens grip and bite through the snow and ice just like any big name tire. The only drawback I can mention is the slight road noise (I'm sure this is also exaggerated when studded, but that's to be expected). I'm expecting these tires to last me through several more seasons without any worry!
