Don't let the low price of these tires scare you away. They are great; these tires are very quiet with good grip on dry pavement. I haven't had the chance to drive in a down pour yet but so I don't know how well they will do in reducing hydroplaning but I have driven in light rain and they returned great road grip. Light rain is the best judgement for tires as it isn't enough to wash away the oil on the road but enough to lift it up and make the road slippery. So if you are on the fence with these tires just take the plunge because you won't be disappointed.

Havent put a ton of km on these tires yet but they are smooth quiet and comfortable..I put them on a little bit early for Saskatchewan weather so drove a couple times in the snow and they did pretty good but I bought them for summer tires and they have great dry weather traction not much wheel spin on hard acceleration from a dead stop with manual transmission...I drive 40 mins a day one way for work and driven through some pretty heavy rain and I haven't had any issues with hydroplaning yet...I bought these tires based on other reviews and I'm happy to say that I'm not disappointed with my choice at all...great tires don't let the name fool you
