Crazy expensive snow tires but they do not disappoint! Quieter and better ride than OEM summer run-flats. Great on wet roads and in standing water, compact snow/ice was very good too. Size limits choices but these are very good winters. Time will tell on tread wear.

The tires have been on my car for 38000 km year round and I think I'll get one more year out of them. Couldn't be happier. Got them installed at Bills Tire in Ogdensburg and they were balanced prefectly. Will get another set from him when ready. Tommy O. Ottawa On. Canada

Surprised to see all the negative comments about the snow/ice performance of these tires, as I've found them to be exceptional in these conditions. Excellent traction in both cornering and particularly braking, providing a high degree of confidence. I actually look forward to having a bit of snow on the less traveled roads as it's fun driving in it and pushing them to see what they'll do (though AWD quattro contributes). The only complaint I have is with the road noise on dry pavement. Coming from 4 seasons with a set of Dunlop Winter Sport M3's on an Audi A4 (which are now on my wife's A4 for their 5th season with plenty of tread), these Pirelli's perform as good, if not better in the snow - but the Dunlops were much quieter in the dry. They may have softened down a bit now that I've hit the 2500km mark, but at speed over 100km/hr they give off an annoying hum I could do without. A bit too early to tell how the tread is wearing, but if the noise doesn't quiet down and the tread wear isn't as good, I'm likely to go back to the Dunlops when it comes time to replace these.

I'm very satisfied with these tyres, confort, snow grip, just perfect. I've done 4.800km so I can't talk about wear, but for now they are as brand new. They are very quiet on highway too. Will buy them again

Unstable on snow and ice, does not provide that feeling of being in contact with the road or in control. Pirelli tires I have used in the past grabbed - these tires slide and are unpredictable. Aside from performance - the treadwear life expectancy on this tire is a joke. Two seasons on these tires, total winter driven KM's - 13k - tires are done. Never again Pirrelli...
