Pleasantly surprised with the stiff sidewall and rim saver lip. Looks and feels like a solid tire, getting a planted feeling with the Mazda 3 when cornering.. Somewhat noisier than Bridgestone Potenza. Dont know about treadwear.

Tyres are on an Opel Vectra 2.2 GTS 5 door hatch. Previous tyres were Michelin. Only done 4 weeks driving so far, in late autumn wet weather. Very impressed with the performance so far. I cant comment on snow performance as it doesnt snow where I live. I will post a further update after 6 months driving. So far...no complaints for the money spent.

This is my third set Tyre. I drive every working day (100~150KM per day) this Tyre can use up to 13 months. Cornering is grip enough, but also come with a litter slide that is acceptable & controllable.

After Running Hankook Ventus V2, Yoko Avid S34, Nankang NS2, these Achilles are By far te best tire i've ever had. i've try to make them slip in the rain with no effect at all. Large puddle = nothing. They're rock solid on dry pavement, same on wet (not that i didn't try to find their limit) On my FWD car, they're working like a charm, wi;ll definately buy again
