  • 199 Mazda Protege - Purchased the BFG Slalom for the Protege last winter (2008). What a difference in performance compared to the all seasons. This tire has excellent traction and is quiet. Noticed the Slalom's were actually quiet that the Michelin All Seasons. Highly recommend this tire. A friend installed Slalom on his Pontiac van based on early my experience with the tire and was very satisfied with the tires.

  • 2006 Hyundai Santa Fee FWD - 225/70R16 - Loose/Dry Snow: V.Good Slush/Wet Snow: Satisfactory Packed Snow/Ice: Poor Not sure how good the tire is due to Electronic Traction Control, Stability Control and Anti-Lock Brakes features on the vehicle. Guess they supplement each other for my safety. If I had an older car/SUV without these safety features, I'll get better tires. On the plus side, they ride smoother and quieter that the OEM Kumho all-seasons!
