Mazda RX=8 - 225-45-18 - This car is too light for tires as wide as 225's (OEM size).Snow traction, particularly braking is poor. Actally rear ended a car in snow due to poor grip - first time in over 50 years driving has that happened.

2002 Volvo S40 - 205-60-15 - I have a 2002 Volvo S40 with an OEM size of 195/60-15. I used these as they were left over from an accident car and I meant to return these tires as well. By using a slightly wider tire, corner and handling as a lot better in general. Having this tire ON during the harsh winter weather this year was SUPERB. These things cut up snowy roads like hot knife through butter. Stopped well, manuevered really well. I threw the car onto snowy and slushy roads with confidence. In terms of this tire being discontinued, it's not it's actually renamed as the LM-25. Great buy, and I had a great price. Although paying shipping + taxes really cancelled out a lot of the savings.
