Had it since 2010 winter, only use it in winter times where temperature drops below 7C. Seattle from Vancouver, highway was unsalted, other cars use right lane doing 40-60kmh while left lane was unused. You can see no one has been on the left lane and I used the left lane doing approx 80-100kmh. Tire is good for snow or ice, took the car to Whistler, no slip, grips the road just like summer time.

Using the Blizzak LM 60 Performance Winter Tire on my BMW 330Ci. These are great winter tires for a sporty car. Some reviews with sporty cars have complained that these don't handle well enough in the dry, but they are obviously comparing to the summer tires they just took off. People need to remember that these are still pure winter tires. Yes they are called "performance winters" which just means they handle the dry roads somewhat better than the "regular" winter tires. People need to have realistic expectations. These tires were great in the snow for me last winter in my rear wheel drive car. I cruised on packed snow roads, breezed through slush, and even steadily drove up a very steep thickly fresh snow covered hill with almost no spin or traction control use. On dry roads, they are comfortable and handle fine. Of course they don't handle like a true actual performance tire. It's all relative. They handle better than most winter tires and still give great snow traction. Just don't drive like a maniac. Great tires.
