  • 1996 Plym Voyager minivan - 205/75R14 - All I can say from experience is, these tires are excellent in the winter. Hit a dangerous snowy/icy section of I-80 in Pennsylvania and, while cars around us were skidding and spinning off the road, we were able to keep going - even though these tires were very worn after 4 seasons. I always had reserve adhesion so it was controllable. I just got 4 more new ones online!

  • On wet, this tire instantly loses traction. Depending on your car I guess you’d experience either under or over-steer. My car understeers heavily. In fact, in the rain, you can rotate the steering wheel at any angle you like the car will plough forward at remarkably low speeds. If you enjoy sliding the car sideways in curves, and enjoy the whining you get on dry, this is the right tire.) On dry, the handling is bad, in the rain the handling is close to non-existent. In the snow, the character of the tire changes dramatically. This tire works best with engine power and I’ve always had the feeling the control of the car is better if you keep the wheels spinning in curves, especially in deep snow. The stopping power on snow is average. Handling on snow is good, while on ice performance is adequate. No major complaints regarding flat spots. Compared to normal tires, this tire should be over-inflated. Remove these tires as soon as the winter season is over.
