This is a very average tire being sold at above average price ($300 at a local tire shop). I have 4 of these mounted on 1st generation Honda CRV AWD and I can't believe how fast these tires wear out (alignmnet done prior to purchase). I use winter tires so I only put 18 months worth of driving (30,000 Km) on them and I am down to 30% of the tread (at best). I am not an aggressive driver nor do I live in a hot climate (Calgary). In addition to quick wear, they are relatively noisy and below average in handling. Overall, I would not recomend these to anyone. In fact, my old Canadian Tire tires (Motomaster) lasted longer and handled as well or better (wet/snow) than the Dueler HT 684 tires.

I bought my forester and it had a set of these tires on it, I have absolutely had it with them, i'm currently looking to replace them. Never had so many flat tires or seen tires wear so quickly before. Never used them in the snow or ice so I cant say what that would be like, however traction in the wet isn't too bad and traction and handling dry isn't that bad either.

Do not ever buy these tires if you will be driving in snow and/or ice. They are the absolutely the worst tires I have ever driven on. They do not stop on snow or ice.

The best tire I ever had. 70,000 miles and never had a problem even in snow. I'm going to replace them soon with exact model. wear was even with the this all wheel drive car. I have driven in condition from dirt to ice roads.
