  • I bought a set of these at a local Firestone dealer after looking at Consumer Reports website. They were rated very high by CR at that time (November 2006). They had a 60,000 mile tread wear guarantee. It's now June 2010 and I have put over 67,000 miles on them and just now looking to replace them. Damn shame that Firestone/Bridgestone discontinued them or I would have bought another set. I guess it's back to the CR site to see what is currently recommended.

  • I got four of these tires at a Wal Mart and all four were defective. It cost me $450 in mechanical diagnostics to figure out that all four tires were out of round, and in one, the steel belt was separating from the rubber. Their date of manufacture showed they had been sitting on the shelf for well over 2 years. After I put these tires on my car, I got 3 MPG less per tank and developed a bad shimmy in the steering wheel at high speeds. Wal Mart insisted on replacing them with the same tire, which also caused me problems. Ultimately I was able to return the 2nd set and get my money back. i bought Michelins instead and am much more satisfied with them. They are a far better tire.

  • 1999 accord - 195 65 15 - Put these on my accord 3 years ago and after 40000 miles, they don't appear to have any wear. Tires are quiet, ride great and have not had to have rebalanced. Best tires I have ever owned.

  • 2000 Honda CRV - 205/70R15 - I have had this tire on my car for 63,000 miles. They have been excellent tires. I still have some wear left and I will be replacing them with Bridgestone again.
