The Conti's are about 2 months old on my car so I cannot comment on treadwear nor snow ( hence the low ratings ).
What I can comment on is how smooth the ride is with these tires and the few times I've "tested" the tires on both wet and dry roads, the handling is fantastic for an all-season tire. A few previous reviews mention short tread wear life ( especially since they have a 540 tread wear rating from Continental ) so I'll keep an eye on the wear as the mileage adds up.

Good tires overall, but man, the treads practically melted, they wore out so fast. I bought these because they had a 540AA tread wear rating thinking they were going to last a while and they were suppose to have 50k mileage warranty on them. My fronts lasted not even 2 years - just over 15k miles only and they are bald (I run full snow tires in winter, so these Contis only get used about 8-9 months a year). Completely ruined an otherwise good experience with these tires. And before you presume, no I never burn out nor come to skidding stops. My previous all Michelin Z rated tires lasted 4.5 years. and I have used only V rated or higher tires all my life and this is the shortest life I have ever experienced with any other tires (other than than a set of Z rated Yoko AVS Intermediates).
So in short, I will never buy Continental again because their tread wear ratings are very deceptive.

Drive an 2001 maxima. replaced Michelin Hydro-somethings with 93K miles on them. DWS drive MUCH smoother and absorb bumps and cracks MUCH better. I thought for years it was my suspension, but the High Treadwear Hard Michelins were the problem. Just had 6 inches of snow in Chicago and had no problems, (for 6 inches of snow). Wet traction is good from dead stops to merge into traffic and dry is great. If I had another car that needed tires, I highly recommend. No wonder they're on backorder.

Honda Rotated tires at every oil change, tires shot at less than 16,000 miles. All past tires have taken us 45 to 60K miles before we replaced them. This set is a disaster.
