    Winter

The Weather-Master S/T 2™ is Cooper´s premium studdable winter passenger tire designed for drivers looking for excellent traction on snow and ice. The Weather-Master S/T 2™ line has extensive size coverage that fits a wide range of automobiles, old and new, foreign and domestic.

    • High Traction Tread Design. The intricate tread pattern balances winter traction and a smooth, quiet ride. The deep lateral and notched circumferential grooves provide excellent evacuation of water and slush from the tread contact patch.
    • Patented "Snow Groove" Design Technology. Provides biting edges for excellent snow and ice traction without reducing tread element stiffness. The snow groove enhances the retention of snow in the outer circumferential grooves to capitalize on the higher traction characteristics of "snow on snow" versus "snow on rubber".
    • "D Squared" Sipe Technology (Density x Depth). Incorporates a dense zig-zag sipe pattern that further enhances winter performance while maintaining excellent wet traction. Variable sipe depth maintains element stability while optimizing winter performance.

Amazing tires! I was running Goodyear last year on my SRT8 Charger and couldn't get any traction, yes they were studded as well as these ones. The grip like its no problem on ice and in almost 2 feet of snow (keep in mind my car is lower to the ground then most) and plows through uncleared streets. Until I hear of something better I'll be sticking with these for all my winters! Only 1 complaint, these tires on my 20" stock rims isn't the best for noise on pavement, but i have the same tires on 215/65/r17 on my other set of charger rims (17") and they are a good 5/5 for noise. Not sure about treadwear yet on them, but put on about 7k on them this winter and the still look brand new. (remember I drive hard and do ice racing)

Quiet, good handling and traction on wet or dry roads. A set of these on the front of my Olds turned it into the best 2 wheel drive snow car I have had since my 39 Chevy. Only have a couple of hundred miles on them, so I don't know what the wear will be, but the car only gets used about 3,000 miles a year.

Running these on a Chevy c1500 2wd with an 8 foot box. Anyone that knows these trucks will tell you, they suck in snow and ice. So having my 4wd broke down, I put these studded weather masters on the Chevy with about 250 pounds of sand in the back by the tailgate. Amazing!!!!! I live on top of a mountain on a dirt road and my driveway is steep, with a turn. Usually has ice on it do to snow coming and melting. This Chevy goes right up with little spin from dead stop at mail box!!!! Wow, even my dodge ram 4wd would sometimes spin more... Great tire, great traction, good price. Will buy again!!
