  • Mini Cooper - I have had the displeasure of having 5 of these tires fail due to belt separation, also I have had two others which were punctured by nails. So within a 17 month period I have replaced 7 tires. When I asked Dunlop about manufacturing issues and failure rates I was told this is proprietary... please just a tire that works

  • MINI Cooper S JCW - 205/45R17 - Tires were great for the first year tho a little slippery on wet roads and ridiculous on snow (yes, I realise they were not made for snow). At the one and a half year mark, one tire started to slowly leak and treadwear was very evident. It is now at the 2 year mark and I HAVE to replace them - they are THAT worn out at about 35K KM. The ride has gotten VERY bumpy almost like I'm riding on solid rubber tires and the traction has dropped a lot so I am somewhat disappointed, esp with the ride comfort for the last 6-9 months and its low treadwear life. Good tire for the first year tho ridiculously expensive. DSST was definitely a saving point as I was able to drive with a flat tire at regular city speeds with no problem (a little sluggish steering and pull to the side that had the flat tire).
