I put these tires on my 1973 BMW 2002Tii (2200lbs car, 135hp, uprated but not race suspension) and have used them exclusively for summer/fall road use, and track use (High performance driving course). Best bang for your buck... and I am talking a lot of bang. On the road they are more grip than you will ever need, and even held their own in the rain. I can not approach their limits on the road; I am just not that stupid. They are comfortable tires. Compared to vintage tires stock to my car, they feel infinitely more comfortable without losing any road feel. Tread wear is not great, but better than most street/track tires, and lets face it, you don't buy tires like this for long tread-life... you get them for incredible eye watering traction. On the track these tires were great. Sidewall stiffness was not an issue with my light car. Grip was immense, and immediate. These tires come up to optimal temp fast, and they never overheated (went squirmy) on me. Some describe the 615's as peaky for temperature... but the 615k's just stay where I want them. They inspired a lot of confidence even at the end of 30 minute lapping runs. They had great turn in, and progressive breakaway if your overcooked a corner. Overall a great tire that I will buy again without a doubt for weekend back-road bombing, and occasional track days and autocross. Dry performance is incredible, and for the price they are hard to beat.

Everything I was expecting. My previous car had the RK-215's and these are even better. No tire squeal no matter how hard I corner. Lots of grip.
