I have a Cadillac STS-V,and to say they don't mwasure up is an understatement! First experience in the wet, traction is a joke. I have to drive cautiously, cornering especially. In the snow, the worst tire I have ever had! I have to crawl, no traction, the car is all over the road. This car has sophisticated traction control! I have owned 23 cars in my life, live in New Mecico(the only positive, little snow/rain) A Chicago area resident half of my life, so I know weather. A bad choice in the end.

I drive roughly 2300 miles per month. These replaced the original equipment Continental all seasons - which were much noisier, have less grip, basically were worn out at 30,000 miles, and did not handle very well. I drive in Florida with lots of rain...these Falkens are tremendous in the rain - even in the hollowed-out asphalt 'tracking' right lane where trucks drive. My Elantra is much quieter now. And, I can practically fly around traffic islands and corner quickly without any problem. The gated-shifter is very useful for downshifting quickly as I take sharp corners with confidence. No snow use - however I see so many others that are rating the tire so low - without ever driving in snow ('cause they don't 'look' like they would handle well in snow - 'jokers) that I felt a higher rating was warranted to balance out their specious opinions versus the facts (whatever that may be - not even one review states they have driven them in snow yet. Fact is ... this tire is worth every penny I paid - hardly shows any wear ... and dry stopping and acceleration are excellent. The lower scores for handling & noise might be more a component of my Elantra - rather than the tires themselves. I probably expect too much from this car regarding the way it handles and noise has been a problem on the newer-styled Elantra's. This tire was referred to me by a friend who owns a tire store. I was skeptical - having always bought some type of BFGoodrich, Goodyear, or Michelin replacement tires. I think, like me, you'll be very happily surprised by the value and quality and performance of this 91V rated tire.
