Responsive Winter Performance Tire for demanding weather conditions

In challenging weather conditions, the Eurowinter HS439 presents improved winter driving predictability and traction consistency. A new silica compound ensures tread flexibility, maximizing tread life, and multi-angled sipes allow for better control in ice and snow. The HS439 is extremely versatile as its unique UHP-inspired asymmetric tread pattern maintains high-speed stability in dry conditions, while four high volume circumferential grooves expel water, slush and packed snow when driving in adverse conditions. For owners of performance coupes, sedans, and wagons, the Eurowinter HS439 is perfect for winter and demanding weather conditions, whether wet or dry.

    • New Silica compound offers superior tread life and performance across multiple temperature ranges
    • Multi-angled sipes improve grip in ice and snow
    • Asymmetric tread design provides excellent performance and stability in wet and dry conditions
    • Four high volume circumferential grooves evacuate water, slush and packed snow for outstanding winter traction
    • Maximum road surface contact

Great all-round performance winter tire. Performance levels surpass many in its category. 90% of the time we drive on cleared roads in winter(Montreal). The sub zero factor on dry pavement is the most important measurable factor. The compound is great. The tire grips at -20 with no issues and handles very well. If you are driving in a blizzard, you should be going relatively slow with regards to some negative comments I have been reading. Unless you are a WRC driver, these tires are great.

I'm from the UK. My car is a Skoda Yeti 2 litre TDi(not listed so went for nearest model)The Dunlop summer tyres suppled with my car are terrible in any snow/icy conditions, so I had no choice but to buy Falkens, as they were relitively cheap. I was driving with all the 4X4's during last winter, as the snow we had caught most motorists out (not many have winter tyres) I was confident to drive on some very icy back roads, despite my car being 2WD. The tyres gripped the ice and stopped my car very well indeed! Highly recommended.
