Winter
Responsive Winter Performance Tire for demanding weather conditions
In challenging weather conditions, the Eurowinter HS439 presents improved winter driving predictability and traction consistency. A new silica compound ensures tread flexibility, maximizing tread life, and multi-angled sipes allow for better control in ice and snow. The HS439 is extremely versatile as its unique UHP-inspired asymmetric tread pattern maintains high-speed stability in dry conditions, while four high volume circumferential grooves expel water, slush and packed snow when driving in adverse conditions. For owners of performance coupes, sedans, and wagons, the Eurowinter HS439 is perfect for winter and demanding weather conditions, whether wet or dry.
Features:
New Silica compound offers superior tread life and performance across multiple temperature ranges
Multi-angled sipes improve grip in ice and snow
Asymmetric tread design provides excellent performance and stability in wet and dry conditions
Four high volume circumferential grooves evacuate water, slush and packed snow for outstanding winter traction
Maximum road surface contact

06 Pontiac G6 GT 3.5 L - P225/50R/17 - These tires are excellent. I had some X-Ice's on before these and those don't compare to these. The X-Ice were roughly $280/tire, these are a lot cheaper and much better quality all around. Grips on ice, grips in deep snow, grips on slush and on dry/wet it nearly handles like a summer, quiet too. I put the treadwear rating to N/A because I've only had these for a month.

2007 Chevy Impala LTZ 3.9L - 235-55-17 - 1st time buyer of winter tires. Car handles 100%. Much better than all seasons. These tires are quiet and handle very well so far very stable even in snow conditions. Very satisfied with performance thus far.

Mercedes GLK 350 4matic - 235/55/18 - Installed these on my GLK. Great handling tire on dry pavement. Smooth and quiet. First encounter with snow today and they didn't disappoint. Lots of traction and stopping distance was good. They don't look as aggressive as some snows but they do what they are suppose to. All I can say is they work great on the GLK. Shouldn't be any different on other cars. I had Nokian WRG2's on my last car. I think the Falkens behave the same.
